Sophie of Sofi Tukker opens up on Instagram about the benefit using “pain psychology” has been for her herniated disc injury.

While on their Wet Tennis tour Sophie of Sofi Tukker shares her positive experience using “pain psychology” to help with her recent herniated disc injury. She shared a video of her pre-stage routine, using her mind to train her body that she is safe through the mantra, “my hips are melting.” She also shares that the app curablehealth has been helpful for her and can be a source of information to learn more about pain psychology.

The app she shared includes many testimonials from people who have had similar positive experiences like Sophie’s. She also received very positive feedback in the comments from fans thanking her for opening up as well as sharing the tools she uses for her health. Her candor shows the strength that our minds can have over our bodies and that we have the power to improve our bodies, mind, and spirit.

This personal anecdote was shared in the midst of Sofi Tukker’s latest North American tour for their album “WET TENNIS” which came out in April this year. The two besties Sophie and Tucker kicked off their tour on the East Coast. Their first headline tour since the pandemic started with a sold-out show in Washington DC.

They sadly had to reschedule their shows in Portland, OR, and Seattle, WA due to a positive Covid test from Tucker. However, the duo‘s desire to keep their crew and others safe is a top priority and the fans will be just as excited to see them when their rescheduled dates have been released. One fan commented, “You guys got us through the pandemic. We’re happy to help get you through it now.” and that could not be more true.

Make sure to send some love to Tucker during this stressful time and listen to their latest album below!
