Seven Lions Releases 10 Year Anniversary Compilation of Fan Favorites from the Last Decade

Jeff Montalvo commemorates the 10th year of his music career as Seven Lions with a specially curated compilation album.

Seven Lions, got his first big break in the scene when he won a remix contest for Above and Beyond’s smash hit “You Got to Go” back in 2011. Since then, Seven Lions released a multitude of tracks and has created an empire with the birth of Ophelia Records

To celebrate this milestone Montalvo has released a 10th anniversary album of fan-favorite tracks. The album was released via Ophelia Records and revisits some of Seven Lion’s most coveted melodic dubstep tracks from his music discography.

On Instagram Montalvo shares, “In 2012, I released my first full length EP, Polarize. 10 years, 8 EPs, dozens of singles and remixes, countless festivals and tours, and one label later, we’re here. I can’t express how grateful I am to have been able to release music for a decade.”

The album is comprised of recent songs like “Island” in collaboration with Wooli, Trivecta, and Nevve as well as “First Time” with Dylan Matthew, Slander, and Dabin. It also includes some classic tracks like “Worlds Apart” featuring Kerli and “Freesol” featuring Skyler Stonestreet.

As a special treat, 10 Years of Seven Lions includes two never-before-heard tracks. The first is an acoustic version of his collaboration with Haliene, Illenium, and Said the Sky of “Rush Over Me”. The second is a rework of “The Blood” by Abraxis turned into a dark techno track.

Alongside the release of this album is the second chapter of its accompanying 4-part mini-documentary focused on the storytelling of the Seven Lions universe. Check it out below!

My introduction to the scene was first influenced by trap music, but my discography has since expanded to touch a bit of everything. Some of my favorite artists are Zeds Dead, Cloonee, Nghtmre, Flume, Infekt, Sosa, Bleu Clair, Subtronics, but the list goes on forever.
