Thomas Jack Returns From Five-Year Hiatus with Scintillating New Single “Sandman”

Australian Producer Thomas Jack Returns With New Record “Sandman” After Five-Year Break

On June 3, Thomas Jack returned from his five-year break of no music or shows with his new record “Sandman”. Jack’s last single “Rise Up” was released back in 2016 before his last EP ‘The Versus’ was released in 2017.

What fans might notice off the bat is that the track does include Jack’s voice. When speaking about the process Jack added ” I had all these singles done but I couldn’t get my vocal tone to fit. So I did month after month of vocal exercises to make it better. I still have a long way to go but singing has become my biggest passion now. It completely changed how I make and think about music.”

In addition to his vocal training, Jack wanted to immerse himself within his own genre. He said “I thought that If I can focus on my voice being on the music then the genre becomes my voice and I can be in a lane of my own. I couldn’t sing at all. When I was in LA, I got a vocal coach who told me that it will take me a long time – training like three hours a day for five years to see progress. So that’s why it took so long for me my voice to a professional level where I can perform where it will be true to the records.”

In celebration of the release of “Sandman” Jack has announced a couple of free shows within the month of June. On June 16, you can catch him at Sound Nightclub in Hollywood, CA and the following day at Superior Ingredients in Brooklyn, NY.

Looking ahead, it’s hard to say where Jack will go from here. However, it’s safe to say that this is just the beginning of a great summer ahead. Make sure to keep up with Jack on his socials for future releases and show announcements

My name is Sebastian Medina and I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Ever since I could remember, I have always been in love with dance music. I appreciate all genres and sub-genres but I definitely gravitate towards house and techno. Being from LA I was blessed with an amazing nightlife full of different artists coming in and out of town throughout the years. Some of my favorite artists include Seth Troxler, Michael Bibi, Mr.Carmack, PAWSA, and Folamour.
