Tomorrowland Drops Lineup of Nostalgic 2010-2012 Stage for July Festival
Tomorrowland returns for the first time since 2019 for an unprecedented three weekends.
As July gets closer, the hype around Tomorrowland is getting more real. To make up for lost time, Tomorrowland added a third weekend for the first time ever. The Belgium festival will welcome over 800 of the world’s biggest DJs over three weekends on July 15-17, July 22-24, and July 29-31.
This will be the first Tomorrowland since 2019 because 2020 and 2021 were canceled due to the Covid-19 pandemic. This meant that tickets for 2022 were transferred for buyers who bought them back in 2019, for the 2020 edition.
Back when Tomorrowland announced its stage hosts earlier this year, they announced a new stage called 2010 – 2012. This stage will be hosted all three Sundays on the Rose Garden stage. If we look back to 2010 to 2012, this is when EDM (golden age) and Tomorrowland became mainstream. For the festival’s comeback, the stage is meant to help fans relive the golden era of Tomorrowland.
Taking over the Rose Garden, the stage will see names like Dada Life and Bingo Players on weekend one, the second weekend will feature artists like W&W, Fedde Le Grand, and more. The third weekend is the only one with a “Special Guest” slot in addition to acts like Dannic, Laidback Luke, and more
As mentioned before, Tomorrowland will welcome over 800 DJs to their month of festivities. Some big names include Above & Beyond, Acraze, Eric Prydz presents: HOLO, James Hype, Oliver Heldens, Tiesto and Tale of Us, and many many more. Additionally, Charlotte de Witte, is making history as the first female DJ to headline the Mainstage on Saturday, July 30.
Finally, for people looking to purchase tickets, an extra and final worldwide ticket sale will be organized next week on June 7 at 1pm EST, 10am PST, 7pm CEST.
