Held In The Beautiful Forest Of Rothbury, Michigan, Electric Forest Will Be Rewarding Festival Goers When They Go Out Of Their Way To Give Back

Electric Forest is back again for its 2022 festival, tying together freedom of expression, community, visually pleasing art, music, and best of all, charity. Festival-goers will certainly line up in order to see their favorite DJs, producers, and singers, but they stay for the beautiful atmosphere of Electric Forest. From supporting music education initiatives to cleaning up the environment, Electric Forest Festival’s true mission is not just giving festival goers a place to party. Its mission is to give back to the world.

The Wish Machine. The Wish Machine is just what it sounds like: The ability to have one of your wishes granted. The goal of the Wish Machine is to offer “an inspirational, ambitious, or charitable deed in exchange for your very own dream-come-true experience at Electric Forest.” The last Wish Machine was held from November 15, 2021, to April 1, 2022, and gave people the ability to be rewarded for their charitable deeds of volunteering or giving back.

Prize Cart. “The Prize Cart is like a mobile Electricology Store – win instant prizes during clean up games all over The Forest and as stages close down every night.” Prize Cart is all about rewarding those who are willing to lend a hand. The Prize Cart stagecoach rolls around when the headliners are finished their set, supplying people who want to help clean-up with trash bags. When the clean up is completed, the helpers can go to collect their reward for helping out.

Music In Schools. Music In Schools is a personal commitment by Electric Forest. The goal of the charitable organization is to help expand the education of music within the Michigan school systems.

Conscious Alliance. Each year, Electric Forest chooses to collaborate with the Conscious Alliance for the Roy Price Memorial Food Drive. The Forest Family That Feeds Campaign was able to produce 10,676 meals by online donations and over 280,000 meals have been donated to Conscious Alliance at Electric Forest since 2011.

To Write Love on Her Arms. To Write Love on Her Arms is dedicated to helping those struggling with mental health. The non-profit movement presents hope to those who are struggling with suicidal thoughts, self-abuse, depression, addiction, and more. To Write Love on Her Arms does not only provide moral support and encouragement, but they also provide opportunities for treatment and recovery.

Electric Forest is loved by so many for different reasons. The big-name headliners will draw the festival-goers in; however, it is the skin-deep beauty of the festival that keeps the dedicated attendees coming back for more.
