Dutch Designer Dzanar Creates One of A Kind Collection of NFTs for G-Eazy
G-Eazy drops NFT token, joining growing body of artists to support the crypto movement.
The multi-talented, world-famous producer and rapper G-Eazy, also known as Gerald Earl Gillum, is excited to announce the debut of his first NFT project. The drop is a collaboration with Dutch designer Dzanar – a content creator for visual projects with artists such as Akon, Chris Brown, Ed Sheeran, Kesha, Jeremy Renner, and the preeminent Riff Raff – and the Quincy Jones-backed artist OneOf.
The concept behind the NFT drop is “The Geralds,” a play on G-Eazy’s birth name as well as his multifaceted interests and personalities. The collection will memorialize different sides of the artist, from his “mountain man” persona to the stoner skateboarder to the 60’s greaser. The collection will also be sold in “packs,” almost like collector’s cards, and fans can enjoy mixing and matching card combinations and/or purchasing the whole collection. Those that invest in the NFTs could also win opportunities to experience Vegas VIP dinners with none other than G-Eazy himself, as well as other to be announced perks.
When speaking on his first NFT drop, G-Eazy had nothing but positivity to share. “This collaboration with OneOf has been long in the making. My debut NFT collection is made with love. It’s a combination of music, fashion, and technology to show all the different sides of myself. I think we all share the same vision of creating a sustainable Web3 future and I’m really excited to have my fans join in.”
The NFT visual artist Dzanar added his upbeat commentary with, “I love to put my imagination to work and create art that breathes style and substance.” Dzanar continued with, “Working with OneOf and G-Eazy on ‘The Geralds’ allows me to create art that bridges a wide range of areas. This project brings artistic freedom and beauty, which I find extremely important in the work I do.”
