DJ Diesel Cancels Hangout Festival Performance For NBA Playoffs

Shaq aka DJ Diesel Has Cancelled His Scheduled Set At Hangout Festival Due To His TV Obligations With The NBA

On May 17, DJ Diesel announced that would no longer be performing at Hangout Festival due to TV obligations surrounding the NBA playoffs. Hangout Fest retweeted the announcement and responded by saying “Bummed to miss Shaq but players gotta play.”

Following the tweet, Hangout Fest hasn’t released an announcement of a replacement for Shaq and will proceed according to plan. The festival is taking place from May 20 – 22 on the beaches of the Gulf Shores, Alabama. Some artists you can expect to see are Post Malone, Zedd, Illenium, Tame Impala, Louis The Child and many more.

Many fans replied to Diesel’s tweet in dismay but were hopeful that they would see the bass DJ in the near future. In addition, he’s booked to play the Cosmic Meadow stage at EDC Las Vegas on Friday, May 20. Fans who aren’t attending might be lucky enough to catch him on the festival livestreams.

As for DJ Diesel, his fast-paced career is nothing short of extraordinary. For a man who has his hands in every type of business, DJ’ing is definitely near the top of that list. Diesel has already toured the festival circuit and performed at Lost Lands, EDC, Tomorrowland, Beyond Wonderland and many more.

In addition to his tour schedule, Diesel has resigned his Las Vegas residency deal at the Wynn making it his fourth consecutive year with the hotel. You can always expect Diesel to bring the heat when it comes to those Las Vegas pool parties.

Be sure to stay on the lookout for DJ Diesel’s tour schedule because he might be playing a show near you very soon. And if you attend one of his shows be on high alert, he’s no stranger to jumping into a good ol’ fashioned mosh pit.

My name is Sebastian Medina and I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Ever since I could remember, I have always been in love with dance music. I appreciate all genres and sub-genres but I definitely gravitate towards house and techno. Being from LA I was blessed with an amazing nightlife full of different artists coming in and out of town throughout the years. Some of my favorite artists include Seth Troxler, Michael Bibi, Mr.Carmack, PAWSA, and Folamour.
