A short list of highly-anticipated acts to add to your EDC Las Vegas 2022 schedule.

With so many stages and hundreds of artists, the EDC Las Vegas lineup can become difficult to navigate. If you’re looking for guidance on must-see performances this weekend, we’ve got you covered. Of course, you can’t go wrong at EDC, but these artists are sure to take your festival experience to the next level.

Porter Robinson at Kinetic Field

Since releasing his highly-anticipated sophomore album, ‘Nurture’, last year, Porter Robinson has been pushing artistic boundaries. According to a recent Tweet by the artist, he’s “been so dizzy for the past couple of weeks trying to figure out what a porter robinson dj set on the mainstage of EDC should look like in 2022…”

It’s safe to say fans can expect something fresh and exciting for this weekend’s performance on the Kinetic Field stage. Although the pre-2015 Porter always has a place in our hearts, we are very eager to see what this creative genius has in store for fans at EDC Las Vegas in 2022 as his project evolves.

Catch Porter Robinson’s main stage on Friday at 1:39 AM. Porter Robinson will also be performing as Air2Earth at Cosmic Meadow at 5:30 PM on Saturday.

Sub Focus & Wilkinson present: Portals at Basspod

Two of the most legendary drum and bass acts have come together to deliver a live performance that fans will never forget. Inspired by their collaborative album of the same title, Portals is a departure from what listeners have come to expect from dance music. It’s safe to say that fans can expect to hear some tracks from the album in addition to drum and bass favorites along with unreleased heaters.

“The whole concept of the Portals is escapism. We like the idea of music transporting you somewhere else. We were very inspired by the artwork and the idea of doorways to different dimensions,” said Sub Focus in an interview with UKF upon the album’s release nearly two years ago.

ZHU

Zhu at Circuit Grounds

After blowing up in 2014 after his hit song, “Faded” quickly became a classic, Zhu is constantly evolving and never afraid to test the waters. His latest album, ‘DREAMLAND’, explores the darker sides of Zhu’s discography and includes hip-hop influences.

Zhu recently shared a teaser for his EDC Las Vegas set with a caption that reads, “YOU ARE INVITED TO THE FASHION SHOW.” The artist has historically included his taste for fashion into his brand, but a runway on stage would be a first. It’s difficult to guess exactly what Zhu is planning for EDC Vegas, but it’s surely groundbreaking.

Catch Zhu on Sunday at 11:35 PM.

Gigantic Nghtmre at Cosmic Meadow

If Gigantic Nghtmre is a name you’ve never seen before, that’s because it’s the elusive collaborative DJ project between Big Gigantic and Nghtmre. These two have performed together on several occasions in the past, including at Ultra Miami 2019 and Rowdytown IX. Not to mention, their funky “Like That” collaboration that made its debut in 2018 has graced many major stages.

Catch Gigantic Nghtmre on Friday at 12:10 AM.

Doctor P b2b Funtcase (Classics Set) at Basspod

Doctor P b2b Funtcase have been going back to back for years, but the two have something special up their sleeves for EDC Las Vegas. Funtcase recently shared a Tweet stating that one of his three EDC sets would be a “Classic/Old School Dubstep Set.” Both Doctor P and Funtcase are OGs in the game. Not to mention, throwback dubstep sets are rare these days and definitely not something you’d want to miss!

I've been a part of the dance music scene for nearly a decade and with Exron for more than half of that time. My first event was Diplo's Mad Decent but these days you'll find me at Club Space or the Brooklyn Mirage. Some of my top artists are G Jones, Tipper, Of The Trees, and CharlestheFirst. My favorite genres are techno, experimental bass, and ambient but I'll get down to anything with a beat!
