Melodic Bass Wizard Trivecta Enlights with Debut Album out on Ophelia Records
Producer and songwriter Trivecta showcases ‘The Way Back Up’ with a beautiful culmination of signature sounds and new self-coined “Folk bass”
The Tampa, Florida native has created a permanent place in the bass genre with his signature melodic bass genre of trance, dubstep, drum and bass, and progressive in ‘The Way Back Up’. Trivecta knows how to keep an eye on him at Ophelia Records as he has expanded his sounds throughout the years and in collaborations with artists such as Seven Lions, Gem & Tauri, and Wooli.
Since Trivecta’s debut single “One Night Only” via Monstercat, fans have been left with a trail of clues as to how his debut album would sound. Loyal fans have stayed patient with the beautiful process of ‘The Way Back Up’ made for the past eight years as they know… Rome was not built in one day.
‘The Way Back Up’ is a well-balanced spice of melodic dance sounds mixed in with the progressive bass house, psytrance, and dark techno. The innovative artist has even included his self-coined signature sound called “Folk bass”.
The essence of Trivecta’s “Folk bass” can be heard within the bass drop of “Sail Away” featuring Jay Mason, as the melody of the windpipes crashes into the vibration of the bass. There are other innovative folk-bass elements in ‘The Way Back Up’ heard in “Open Road” and “Back To The Start”.
The song that Trivecta has been the most excited for to premiere on ‘The Way Back Up’ is his single featuring Matluck called “Empty Oceans”. The artist proclaimed that “this is going to be the big one” in an Instagram post. This progressive house anthem has been a peak moment to experience in his live shows.
The cultivation of mixed genres in ‘The Way Back Up’ represents the paving that Trivecta has curated into his foundation of electronic music. The artist will be going on tour starting at Sunset Music Festival in Tampa, Florida on May 27th.
