Alison Wonderland Performs a Surprise Set at an Abandoned Laundromat in LA

Alison Wonderland fans were guided through their (Alice In) Wonderland to groove through the funky location and elevated vibrations of Loner.

Queen producer, wizard DJ, and talented singer-songwriter Alexandra, also known professionally as Alison Wonderland, delivered an impromptu performance hosted by Brownies & Lemonade at an abandoned laundromat in the heart of Los Angelos this past weekend.

This was a simulation worth dropping everything at the beat of a heart for. Fans who attended the secret rave were left with a trail of surprises throughout the night, including a first time teaser to the release of Loner. Most importantly, Alison Wonderland has left her devoted fans the absolute precious memory of an eccentric underground rave in a laundromat. 

Alison Wonderland has a natural gift of creating a limitless safe space for the crowd to solely focus on absorbing the openness of Alison’s soft vocals and wide range of rhythm in Loner.

The synthesization between your breath flowing with each transition will be warped you through a deep rabbit hole. Suddenly, somehow…someway, you end up sideways staring at the immersive lights reflecting off the metal toppings of the washer and dryers around the intimate room. The energy of Loner gives the abandoned laundromat an unearthly, yet sublime atmosphere with the psychedelic LED lights illuminating the walls.

This impromptu show is not the first time Brownies & Lemonade have brought an element of surprise. The premier event company even hid free Loner merch inside of the washers for Alison Wonderland fans to find! These nightlife kingpins have hosted Popups for other renowned performers such as GRiZ and Whethan. 

Alison Wonderland architected the foundation of her music with formal training as a cellist player. Since emerging in 2009, the sonic sorceress producer has sold out arenas, collaborated with well-respected artists such as Illangelo, and reached 100 million streams by 2018.
