Listen to SG Lewis’ Three Hour Surprise Coachella Set at the Do LaB Stage

UK super producer, songwriter, and performer SG Lewis releases his DJ set from Coachella.

SG Lewis – a superstar producer, songwriter, and performer from the UK – recently released his acclaimed DJ set from his performance at the Do LaB stage, Week One of Coachella on Saturday night. For those unfamiliar with the brand, over the years Do LaB has brought us Lightning In A Bottle, in addition to Coachella’s most intimate and immersive EDM stage.

Do LaB has incepted a legendary space on the Polo Fields, hosting unforgettable acts alongside electronic dance rising stars and indisputable icons. This year at Coachella, the stage hosted headliners such as Diplo, Dom Dolla b2b John Summit, and Subtronics.  The stge also welcomed Yung Bae b2b Madeon, Hayden James, LP Giobbi, and DJ Hanzel aka Dillon Francis. Needless to say, the lineup was stacked.

When speaking on the performance, a three-hour long showstopper of a set, SG Lewis had wonderful insights to share. “‘The 3-hour set at the Do LaB was probably my favorite experience DJing to date. The extended slot allowed me time to really dive into genres that inspire my own music, and to build slowly in energy over time.”

“I was hesitant to upload the set,” continued SG Lewis. “As it felt like one of those moments where you had to be there – but listening… to it brings about so many great memories, and so many of you asked so nicely for it. I’ve never received so many messages about a DJ set before, so thanks to everyone for the lovely words.

SG Lewis ended his statement with, “Chopped off the first 15 mins due to an audio issue, but it took me that long to settle in anyway. Hope this recording brings back some great memories to a lot of you too.”

Other than Coachella, SG’s most recent 2021 album ‘times’ features collaborations from Robyn & Channel Tres, Nile Rogers, Frances, Lucky Daye, and Lastlings. The album has propelled SG on a national tour, with a most notable pitstop at Lightning in a Bottle’s 2022 shebang. In addition to SG, Lightning in a Bottle’s lineup will feature performances from Glass Animals, Kaytranada, GRiZ, Big Wild, CloZee, Ekali, G Jones b2b Eprom, GoldLink, Black Coffee, Four Tet, Seth Troxler, Maya Jane Coles, Jon Hopkins, and many more.
