Tek Genesis Makes Stunning WAKAAN Debut with Masterfully Crafted “Sapphire Channel” EP

Tek Genesis debuts a genre-less COVID era project titled “Sapphire Channel” with WAKAAN.

Marking his ceremonial WAKAAN debut, Tek Genesis makes a statement with his newest genre-fluid EP, ‘Sapphire Channel.’ Spanning over the course of three-dimensional tracks, all written over varying periods of time, each song represents a different point in Tek Genesis’ life and the accompanying thought processes behind them. 

When asked about his new genre-bending project Genesis talked about how the isolation experienced in 2021 during the height of COVID led him to his creations.

“The Sapphire Channel EP was a project in which I wanted to showcase an expansion of my music production. All the tracks were written over a long course of different periods of my life which showcase various and unique states of thinking. I wrote all of these tracks by myself whilst spending a lot of time in isolation in 2021.”

Masterfully encompassing a multitude of fleeting feelings through fluctuating tempos, sporadic dancefloor breaks, and spiraling basslines, the up-and-coming producer holds nothing back in this introductory WAKAAN release.

Australian producer Tek Genesis presents a forward-thinking approach to experimental bass music. Drawing inspiration from a variety of eclectic musicians such as EPROM, Alix Perez, and G Jones.

The Sydney-born artist effortlessly weaves elements of bass music, hip-hop, acid, and jungle into a hostile yet ethereal collection of dynamic sound.

Throughout 2020 Tek Genesis has carried his forward-thinking bass music with the release of the ‘Dualism’ EP. With gaining traction across North America Tek Genesis followed the release of ‘Dualism’ with ‘Eterna’ released exclusively with Insomniac’s Bassrush Records. 

Since then, he’s continued to pave the way for experimental base music by doing an official remix for Alison Wonderland & and continued self-releasing music during COVID.

With praise from industry giants and the WAKAAN team behind him, Tek Genisis is sure to keep releasing his genre-bending music.
