Coachella is known as one of the most iconic music festivals in the US showcasing the biggest named artists of our time. Though what most people don’t know is within the festival lives a whole other experience aside from the main lineup.

Brought to you by the creators of Lightning in a Bottle festival is the DoLaB stage. Known for the integration of performance art and music, the DoLaB tent features its own lineup of older and newer electronic artists. Past guests have included big names such as Skrillex, Richie Hawtin, and Major Lazer.

The DoLab stage always has a few surprises in store, and this year did not disappoint. Fans were practically transcending out of their bodies when witnessing the super rare, all dubstep set from OG artist Skream.

Skream – Artists

Skream, who now typically produces house and techno, showed up and showed out for his one-night return to his roots. For those that don’t know, Skream was a pioneer of the dubstep movement that was gaining traction in the US during the late 2000s.

His first self-titled album Skream! released in 2006 and is regarded as one of the most iconic albums of all time in the community. Any person that calls themselves a true dubstep fan would recognize this album.

 

Taking the stage after Skream was the Glitch Mob who started their set by saying, “There wouldn’t be dubstep in America without this guy.” A big claim, but there is no lie. We have scoured the internet to find the best and craziest moments from Skream’s set to share with you all.
