PIERCE Returns to Wakaan with Mind-Bending “PULSE” EP

The Arizona born DJ and producer, PIERCE, brings unheard heat with Wakaan on the new “PULSE” EP

PIERCE returns to the label Wakaan again with a heart-pounding new EP, ‘PULSE.’ Following his latest two releases of ‘FLEX’ and ‘Wub It’ with labelmate LUZCID, ‘PULSE’ lands as a testament to PIERCE’s undeniable artistic prowess. 

The artist navigates it all with ease through multiple facets of rich textures and innovative sound design over the course of three contrastive tracks. The EP fluidly goes from stimulating freeform bass in ‘PULSE’ and ‘BRAINDEAD’ to traditional trap in ‘HIGHER.’

It is clear PIERCE shows no bounds to where his music will go or what genres he will touch with his most recent project.

With several long-standing releases in his holster, PIERCE now gears up for a noteworthy run of shows this spring, including Texas, Washington, and multiple international dates in Canada. Where you are sure to hear his new mind-bending concoctions live.

This EP is especially important to PIERCE who says, “Each song tells a story, my story.”

“This EP has a deeper meaning to me. It signifies a new chapter in my life; my “rebirth” as an artist and my growth as a person. While creating these songs, I made sure to stay true to myself.”

PIERCE also tells us that this EP offered him an escape from the weight of others’ opinions.

“ I didn’t want the opinion of others altering my creative process and I wanted to rise above the negativity that was surrounding me. I have always used music as an outlet for self-expression and I hope people will resonate with these tracks.” 

The self-expression is evident with his multi-genre EP exploring parts of his artistry previously unexplored.

PIERCE has been making music since 2012. Now he’s moved from Arizona to Los Angeles after graduating from ICON production school in 2015. There he has dropped three EPs before “PULSE” including “Audi,” “Hijack,” and “FLESH.”
