Swedish House Mafia Recruits Absolut Vodka to Create a Cocktail for Their New Album ‘Paradise Again’
The Swedish vodka brand also released a metaverse experience called Absolut.Land that has a surprise during Coachella Music Festival.
Swedish House Mafia’s highly-anticipated Coachella performance is getting all the more exciting with the help of Absolut Vodka.
The iconic vodka brand and electronic music trio have teamed up to play their debut album ‘Paradise Again’ in a “custom jukebox” on the brand’s new metaverse experience, Absolut.Land.
‘Paradise Again’ was released on Friday, April 15th just in time to make its way onto the new metaverse experience and all the other Coachella fun that will follow.
That’s not all, the metaverse experience will also allow fans of the trio to groove in gravity-defying virtual dancefloors, unlock VIP giveaways, and fans at Coachella can become virtual bartenders at an interactive Absolut.Land kiosk at the festival.
For fans that crave a non-virtual experience, Swedish House Mafia also created a signature cocktail to cool you off at the desert festival. Together the brand and trio made the “Paradise (Again) Paloma.”
The drink uses Absolut grapefruit vodka with some soda water, lime juice, and a garnish of Swedish Fish. A clever and tasty topping treat. The citrusy summer-made beverage is also being sold as a pre-packaged cocktail blend for easy mixing.
“We wanted to mix with our fans in a way that’s really innovative and different, and what’s bigger than the metaverse,” said Swedish House Mafia’s Axwell, Steve Angello, and Sebastian Ingrosso in a joint statement.
“When we hit the headline stage at the festival on Friday, you can also find us in Absolut.Land to listen and dance to our newly dropped Paradise Again album over the Swedish Paloma cocktail we created with Absolut.”
Since Coachella opened its doors on Friday, Absolut.Land’s virtual doors have too. You can get information and access to this one-of-a-kind brand activation here.
