Boslyk Leads Speed House Genre with New Single “Fury” on Haus of Panda’s Label
Boston-based DJ duo drops sweet Speed House track that draws serious attention on Haus of Panda’s label Speed House Movement
Boslyk, a Boston-based duo comprised of besties Ryan Chiasson and Andrew Wilkins, recently dropped their single “Fury” via Haus of Panda‘s label Speed House Movement. The single champions EDM’s latest craze, better known as “speed house”, and the genre endures exactly as it sounds – the movement is house in conjunction with techno, but pick up the pace.
Boslyk, which usually sports more melodic dubstep, bass house, and/or future bass, expanded their capabilities as artists and stretched their depth of sound with this latest experimental release.
This drop was inspired by Andrew’s most recent experience at Ubbi Dubbi, a DDP Worldwide festival in Texas. While attending, Andrew was exposed to a Henry Fong track that perfectly epitomized the speed house genre. When returning home, Andrew and Ryan began collaborating, attempting to recreate and reimagine the insatiable energy of speed house and Fong’s unforgettable track.
Shortly after the track’s release, Dr. Fresch, a popular Twitch streamer and DJ, dropped the track on his monthly stream “Caller ID.” Dr. Fresch gave the song a live shout-out and subsequently reached out to the duo to personally recommend the track for Haus of Panda. A month later, “Fury” made its second debut via Haus of Panda’s label “Speed House Movement” and quickly captured the attention of listeners, claiming the number 12 spot on Beatport’s “Best New Mainstage: March” Chart. The track was also featured on Tokyo Machine’s “TOKI-TUNES” playlist.
With regards to tour dates, Boslyk’s next performance will be on June 17th in their home city at the Royale. The duo will open for Mitis, an American DJ and melodic dubstep artist originally from Pennsylvania.
