Exron Exclusive Interview: Wenzday at 45 East

Exron Music sat down to interview Producer/DJ Wenzday ahead of her performance at 45 East in Portland, OR.

Exron Music had the privilege to chat with heartbreaker Wenzday for an exclusive interview before her performance at 45 East in Portland, OR. Making headway in the electronic community there is no genre that is out of reach for Wenzday to master. With a start in vocal performance, Wenzday was opened up to the music world at a young age. When she had to put those skills on pause and find a new outlet to express herself she found joy in the art of DJing and producing music.

Following the release of her new song “Shake” with BINGEWATCH Wenzday played a high energy set along with many of her classic anthems. From “Heartbreak House” with Kevin Flum to “Bright Lights” with Lil Debbie and everything in between. By the middle of the show, everyone was chanting “Wenzday! Wenzday!” just begging for more of her DJ magic.

This year she will be playing multiple sets at EDC including a B2B with Nostalgix and will also be at Beyond Wonderland in the Gorge. She has blessed people’s ears and performed at Lost Lands, EDC, and Nocturnal Wonderland. In the room, we dubbed the “gray room” I had the privilege of sitting down to interview Wenzday and talk about her career and upcoming plans for herself and her imprint 40oz Cult.

Wenzday opened up her set with “Be My Lover” which she transformed into a hard basshouse beat. Attendees even got to hear a remix of Kanye West’s “Love Lockdown” which is right on theme for Wenzday’s heartbreaker aesthetic. Wenzday had the most amazing visuals during her set and played the night away.
