MEDUZA Returns to Brooklyn for the World Premiere of Odizzea Live Project
Meduza has announced the launch of their live concert series, Odizzea, to take place at Avant Gardner in Brooklyn.
The talented musicians will bring what they call an “epic journey in three dimensions” to the iconic New York venue on April 29. Meduza has chosen to return to Avant Gardner, the ideal location for the launch of their newest venture.
After the trio of producers hit the Ariston stage at Sanremo Festival with an explosive performance, they needed the perfect followup venue with the start of their Odizzea project. The fully live performance will premiere later this month, and is sure to be an immersive experience for all in attendance.
Meduza consists of Italian DJs Mattia Vitale, Simone Giani, and Luca De Gregorio, who are ready to bring to light their newest creative deviance. With an unmatched repertoire of music, namely singles Piece Of Your Heart, Lose Control and Paradise, and their latest release Tell It To My Heart, these talents continue to wow their fans across the globe.
Meduza has impressively made their mark as the only Italian artists in the Top 20 of the most listened to albums of 2021 on Spotify and has hit the massive milestone of over eight billion streams worldwide.
Their Avant Gardner performance will include majestic scenography and innovative visuals set to bring a sensory overload to an already adrenaline-filled experience. Meduza has planned to put forth both unreleased and their most beloved global hits for their New York return. Although Odizzea signals a new future for these industry mainstays, it will also bring Meduza back to the core of electronic music. In speaking of the new project, they explained: “We have been working on this project for some time, in which we strongly believe because for us it represents an evolution of who we are.
“This for us is the beginning of a new era, that of Meduza 2.0. We think the time has come to play live in front of our audience to allow them to savour an experience that yes, has a beginning and an end, but which is more like a journey, a total immersion in what it is for us. the concept of ODIZZEA.”
Avant Gardner has hosted a stand-out winter lineup of events, and as the venue prepares for its summer debut, no artists could be better to round out the season’s programming. Limited tickets remain, so get yours here!
