ODESZA Announces Album Is Finished With Mysterious Post
Electronic music duo Odesza teases new completed album to fans on social media.
ODESZA took to social media earlier this week to deliver a message to fans about their soon-to-be-released project. The Seattle-based duo made two posts across his platforms that teased fans about the completed album.
This first post was simply a photo of a computer folder with the words “Album Done” underneath of it. Behind the folder was an aesthetically pleasing green-black cyberpunk background that matched the second post. The caption of the photo was a simple “It’s done.”
The second post shared the green-black color scheme but was the release of his album cover. It included his logo, name, and blurry depiction of themselves, along with a lengthy Instagram caption speaking to his fans.
“Over the past few years we’ve been able to reflect on who we are, what it means to do what we do, and in the end, who we are doing this for. We became focused and inspired by the impact our families and friends have imprinted on us and how we want to continue to echo that out as we move through this life. We found comfort in the fact that those who we love stay with us, that they become intrinsically part of us, in a way.”
Underneath the paragraph was the release date of the album, told in a fun way.
“Is there ever a really a Last Goodbye? We don’t think there is. So, from us to you. The Last Goodbye, the Album. Out July 22nd. Available for pre-order now.”
The stars have released a single ahead of the album titled ‘Love Letter’ featuring The Knocks, an NYC based musical duo
Fans are already anticipating the album, reposting their Instagram post on their stories, and tweeting about the announcement. The album is already on its way to being a fan favorite and sure-fire hit.
