DJ Diesel’s latest event Shaq’s Bass All Stars aims to support new music producers in their career journey

Boldly declaring himself as the biggest DJ in the world, DJ Diesel has announced his latest music initiative Shaq’s Bass All Stars to encourage new blood in the industry. A man that wears many hats, Shaquille O’Neal a.k.a DJ Diesel is best known for his hit studio rap albums in the 1990s and has began taking the DJ decks in recent years.

Starting out as an a former NBA player who is regarded as one of the MVPs of all time, DJ Diesel‘s dive into an electronic music career took off when he first stepped foot at the TomorrowWorld festival in 2014. Having been exposed to other prominent DJs like Steve Aoki and Skrillex changed his life. He debut his music with the name SHAQ and released his debut rap album ‘Shaq Diesel‘ in 1993, selling over a million copies and charted a record No. 25 high on the Billboard 100.

Being the only athlete in history to earn a platinum selling album, DJ Diesel has earned himself the credit of being the “biggest DJ in the world”. With his latest initiative Shaqs Bass Allstars Who’s Next edition, the highly acclaimed DJ clearly signals his intention to pave a new way for more recognition of up and coming musicians and “some fresh blood”.

In the previous years, Shaq’s Bass Allstars has become his signature live music event where he host some of the biggest electronic bass hitters in the dance scene. The incredible line up includes artists like Zeds Dead, NGHTMARE, Nikki Gritti, Wuki and many more. He also makes his appearance with a roaring DJ Diesel set to close out the event.

After almost 20 years of a prolific career in electronic music, DJ Diesel is not showing any signs of slowing down yet.
