GORDO aka Carnage Goes on a Wild Industry Rant on Twitter

Carnage revives his Twitter presence to go on a rant about the toxicity of the EDM community and show love to other artists.

DJ Carnage continually gets a bad rap in the EDM space, but why exactly? It feels that every so often we hear his name along with something negative, but is it even true?

Carnage has been relatively quiet on Twitter for quite some time. He started off a long chain of tweets explaining that his absence was due to how toxic the EDM community is to artists and one another.

He continues on to say that this toxic environment has made it okay for people to disrespect artists and even tell lies with no actual facts. One small lie gets spun into a huge story that didn’t even happen.

Pivoting he shows his support for other producers in the scene and says he’s been focused on becoming the best version of himself. He’s lost over 100 pounds and just recently marked his 2 years sober anniversary.

After he claims that these changes have led him to be making the best music of his life, Carnage goes on a tagging spree. He tweets at artists from across the spectrum including Valentino Khan, Alison Wonderland, Kayzo, Slander, 12 Planet, Shalizi, Marshmello, Riot Ten, Excision, and John Summit to spread words of love.

Giving credit where it was due, the kind words were reciprocated by the artists and met with just as much love back to Carnage. We are excited for the new music to come and perhaps we will think twice before speaking about someone we don’t even know.

An Atlanta gal chasing her love for electronic dance music. I’ve been with Exron since 2018 and have the privilege of contributing to the culture alongside other badass women whom I now call my friends. My introduction to the scene was first influenced by trap music, but my discography has since expanded to touch a bit of everything. Some of my favorite artists are Zeds Dead, Cloonee, Nghtmre, Flume, Infekt, Sosa, Bleu Clair, Subtronics, but the list goes on forever.
