SIPPY and Virus Syndicate Remind Fans “Who’s In Charge” with Fiery New Collab on Bassrush

Greater Manchester Collective, Virus Syndicate, and Sydney-Based Bass Music Machine, SIPPY, Join Forces to Release Their New Single, “Who’s In Charge.”

Great Britain’s pioneers, Virus Syndicate, combines their grime-dubstep flavor with the Australian, powerful sound of SIPPY, to release their new track, “Who’s In Charge.” The new authoritative record has been released under Bassrush Records, posing a rhetorical question with the track title. The new song is packed with a fiery groove, that brings listeners back to the early days of dubstep.

In the new boasting, yet grounded single, SIPPY takes the lead with conducting a dark, evocative beat, while Virus Syndicate lays down their crafty lyrics. “Who’s In Charge” creates a new type of sound, all while playing tug-of-war for power. The duo brags about their time spent in the school of hard-knocks, but always having the respect that they’ve commanded.

The genius track didn’t boom overnight. SIPPY spent a lot of time putting together the perfect foundation before sending it over to Virus Syndicate. When asked about the creative experience behind the track, SIPPY stated, “I think I wrote about nine different ideas to send to the boys before I eventually decided on this one. I’ve been playing it in almost every set since, so I’m very excited to get this one out. This is my first release with Bassrush, so I’m very happy to join the bill of amazing talent.”

When the perfect beat was finally sent over from SIPPY, Virus Syndicate was more than excited and ready to lay down their verses. The duo stated, “When she sent over the instrumental, we were instantly locked in. The vibe was perfect! Energetic, moody, EPIC! We started writing our verses straight away and it all came together quickly and organically. We knew we had a banger and we’re gassed to be releasing this on the legendary Bassrush.”
