Tiësto Launches Global Remix Challenge for Dance Anthem “The Motto” Alongside Beatport

Tiësto collaborates with Beatport to launch a new global remix challenge for dance hit “The Motto” on 14 March.

Calling all ambitious DJs and aspiring producers around the world – Tiësto and Beatport is rolling out a global remix challenge to rework the Dutch superstar’s collaboration with Ava Max, “The Motto” starting 14 March. This contest is open to all producers across the world, regardless of genres and nationality.

To submit entries for consideration, participants are encouraged to register their details at LabelRadar. From the page, the stems are available to download by heading to the Remix Challenge Landing Page. Sign up for the Loopcloud to receive additional sample packs. The deadline for submission is Friday, 1st April 2022 at midnight Pacific Time.

Tiësto and his A&R team will pick the finalists. These tracks will be posted online for the global dance community to cast their votes for the ultimate winner. The winning entry will also be released on Atlantic Records later this year, on top a music production prize package worth over $10,000 including Genelec 8341A Studio Monitors, social support from Tiësto, Beatport, and the other remix challenge partners. Runner up winners will also be given prizes such as Tiësto‘s The Next Beat Controller, playlist support on Beatport, support on Beatportal, and subscriptions to Beatport LINK, Loopcloud, Reason, and more.

Following the success of last year’s Global Remix Challenge for Tiësto’s “The Business Pt I + II (ft Ty Dolla $ign), there were overwhelming number of entries, making it the biggest remix contest in Beatport, LabelRadar, and Atlantic Records’ History. Since its release, “The Motto” has been hitting club scenes and parties with steaming heat. This has also spurred the release of Part II of the official music video for the song, which is sure to attract more eyes and ears to the dance anthem.
