Nicole Moudaber Celebrates International Women’s Day With Launch of New Mix Series on Apple Music

Exclusively for Apple Music, Nicole Moudaber has released her mix series “In The MOOD” this year, on International Women’s Day.

Nicole Moudaber released her mix series “In The MOOD” this year on International Women’s Day which fell on March 8th. This monthly series features many female artists from all different genres from around the world. Additionally, Moudaber will showcase a new genre each month that can be found solely on Apple Music.

On a day when Spotify users lost their minds when they were logged out of their account, Apple Music listeners were able to hear the mix on this historic day. For the first mix, Moudaber calls on her listeners to be the ones to choose which female artist they would like to hear in the compilation. Including fans in this endeavor is a fun way for Nicole to engage directly with her listeners.

Additionally, it is a great way to increase the range of diverse female artists and music in the mix. The techno queen is an artist who empowers and inspires many women worldwide. In a male-dominated industry empowering and sharing music made by female artists can lead to more inclusion in the industry and elsewhere.

Moudaber has been running this mix series for over seven years and was featured in an interview on DJ Life Magazine this month. In this piece, she discusses how she stayed inspired to DJ during the pandemic. As well as discussing what her series means to her and the process by which she stays focused on continuing it over the years.

This series has put Moudaber on the map as being an inspiration and trendsetter in the music community. Moudaber will also be performing at many festivals this year including Tomorrowland in Belgium, Secret Project Festival in Portugal, and many shows around the world.
