ODESZA Drops Surprise New Single to Encourage Fans to “Take a Leap”

ODESZA surprise fans and release new single “Better Now” feat. MARO, providing inspiration to fans 

ODESZA have just revealed their second new single in less than a month after the release of their track “The Last Goodbye” featuring the vocals of musical great Bettye Lavette. Serving as a pristine follow up, the beloved group surprise their fans with another stirring single, “Better Now” feat. MARO.

ODESZA’s last release before these two was back in 2020 with their collaboration project “Bronson”, but their last solo release dates back to 2018 with the release of the deluxe version of their studio album “A Moment Apart”. ODESZA marks their highly anticipated return to the dance music scene with these two releases and their fans couldn’t be more enthralled.

The Washington state-based duo started back in 2012 after having met at Western Washington University. They right away released their first album ‘Summer’s Gone’ in 2012 and their second album ‘In Return’ in 2014. ODESZA over the years has become a huge name in the music world gaining millions of streams, selling out huge venues, and getting multiple Grammy nominations.

ODESZA frustrated their fans by being away for so long but after releasing two singles in a couple of weeks they might have some big things planned for the future. “Better Now” marks their second release in 2022, being released only a few weeks after their first single of the year.

ODESZA have a very clear message and meaning for their new single “Better Now” as they posted on instagram, it’s a song “For those moments when you don’t know if it’s worth taking the leap”.

“Better Now” is a very smooth yet upbeat song, featuring the beautiful calming vocals of well-known singer-songwriter MARO. The single also features some of their signatures sounds like unique synths or filtered drums making this song yet another ODESZA masterpiece.
