Hayden James, Elderbrook, and Cassian Combine Talents On Stirring New Single “On Your Own”

Hayden James releases his new single “On Your Own” from forthcoming sophomore LP “LIFTED” due 8 April.

Combining forces with Cassian and Elderbrook, Hayden James releases his new single, “On Your Own”. Out on 3rd March via Future Classic, the latest collaboration breathes the essence of all three artists’ talent in producing a solid dance floor anthem. 

Taken off his forthcoming sophomore LP “LIFTED” set for 8 April, “On Your Own” draws on the the heavy synth and bass drops beautifully crafted by the award winning producer, Hayden James. The track incorporates the musical genius of Grammy nominated producer, DJ and mixing engineer Cassian, as well as Grammy-nominated vocalist, Elderbrook. With a song that instantly transports listeners into a world of an elevated mood, “On Your Own” serves as an exciting introduction to the collection of tracks within “LIFTED”.

Despite working on music together for the last decade, this is the first time that Hayden James and Cassian have released a project together. He shares about the making of the track and how they fuse their music production to create an energetic song. “Cass and I worked out this high melodic, harmonic synth lead line line you hear in the pre chorus. The marriage of the melody with Elderbrook’s soaring vocal is such a moment.”

Elderbrook is also delighted to lend his harmonies to the track, “It was great to team up with Hayden again to make this song. The lyrics and song mean a lot to me. And the meaning of them is to encourage people to be true to themselves and not be hard on themselves.”

“LIFTED” is slated to be an outstanding project that embodies music aim to spark an eruption within the crowd during live sets as ravers return to the dancefloor after a period of lockdown. Along with the release of the latest single, Hayden also announced a massive tour lineup this year, with well known festivals like Art of the Wild in March, Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in April and a 20 date US tour across North America.
