John Summit Reminisces on “Dark Times” At Job Before Becoming a Professional DJ

World-renowned DJ John Summit refers to his previous job as an accountant as the “Dark Times” of his life.

John Summit in Khaki pants and a salmon-colored shirt reflect the “Dark Times” of his previous life as a finance bro. In a podcast interview with Festiie, Summit revealed that in his final year of college he passed the CPA becoming a certified public accountant. This interesting life anecdote shows us not only is he a DJ and certified shot pounder but he lived the life of a certified accountant.

To the surprise of many fans, John Summit revealed this fact on Twitter, the best social media app for quick wit. In typical Twitter fashion, John’s followers were quick to respond to this reveal with their roasts and interesting merch ideas. One follower suggested a genius idea of creating merch printed with the words “john summit is my accountant”.

Additionally, fans on Twitter went further in their trolling of John Summit by posting his LinkedIn profile photo. While also going deep into a google search to find out that he still has an active CPA license.

All jokes aside, Summit serves as an inspiration that people can choose to follow a different path than what they initially thought they wanted for themselves. Additionally, Summit may have unintentionally caused fans to consider how much artists deserve to get paid for their talent and hard work vs what they receive.

Thankfully, John Summit has come to the light side, and producing and performing is the passion he has chosen to pursue fully. On March 11th he will finally be releasing his Spanish track “La Danza” which he has been playing at his shows as of late.
