Crystal Skies Drops Their Highly Anticipated 12-Track Freshman Album, Leaving Listeners Impressed with the Electronic Duo

Philadelphia-native Aaron Dawson, and Louisiana-born Britain Holcomb, capture the energy of the dance floor with their pop-punk-inspired LP. Coming out the gate swinging, Crystal Skies does not disappoint with their brand new album release, ‘Not Since When,” which took the duo two years to create. The album opens up with majestic elements, building on this energetic tension. The listener just knows that they are in for a ride with Crystal Skies.

The album begins with the title track, becoming the perfect introduction that the listener needs to prepare them for the energy that awaits them. The album continues on with the next track, Gold, featuring the extremely creative singer-songwriter, Luma. Together, Crystal Skies and Luma create a track that radiates the perfect balance of electronic, pop-punk ambiance.

While the entire album showcases the amazing production skills that Crystal Skies possesses, the duo proves how well they can collaborate with other artists as well. One of the tracks that exhibits just that is Nothing Ever Happened. This JASPR-featured track will take listeners back to the days where pop and punk was in its prime: The late 90s and early 2000s.

Filled with summertime vibes and remarkable vocals, Crystal Skies delivers on all fronts, especially with production quality. When asked about the new album, the duo stated, “Although we write mostly electronic music now, both of us were influenced heavily by the alt rock and pop punk bands of the ‘90s and ‘00s, and this was a great opportunity to combine our electronic sound with these elements to create something fresh and new in the music scene.” The pop-punk influences are heard from the beginning of the album to the very last track, taking the listener on a journey that they will want to revisit again and again.
