It wasn’t until eight years later in 2016 when Kaskade and deadmau5 reunited to release “Beneath with Me” featuring Skylar Grey. In July 2021, the buzz of these two working together again was stirring after Kaskade’s massive show at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, CA.

Before Kaskade’s performance, deadmau5 took the stage to wow the packed-out stadium and later joined Kaskade where Kx5 flashed on the screen behind them dropping hints to the crowd. The two then took to social media to confirm that something special was in the works posting a trio of gradient pics to their Instagram.

Now the news is finally out and Kaskade and deadmau5 have announced the launch of their collaborative alias as Kx5. Coinciding with the big reveal is news of their first track together titled, “Escape” featuring vocalist Hayla dropping on March 11th.

To top it all off Kx5 will have their official debut performance at none other than EDC Las Vegas this year. Click here to pre-save “Escape” (feat. Hayla) and stay tuned for more releases from these two behemoths underway.
