Tony Romanello Showcases Techno Prowess in ‘Dark Energy’ EP

Tony Romanello Teams Up With Say What? Recordings to Release Their 146th Collaboration with ‘Dark Energy’ EP

Tony Romanello has been a techno legend since 1999, touring worldwide and inspiring countless numbers of today’s artists. He is known for his chart-topping music, partnering with multiple record labels. Now, Tony Romanello is back and is collaborating with Ramon Tapia’s Say What? Recordings for another release: The ‘Dark Energy‘ EP.

The title track for the ‘Dark Energy’ EP has a deep bass that is coupled with high-energy kick drums, creating an irresistible sound that leaves the listener begging to hit the dance floor. The second track, Thestral, doesn’t drop the ball or change the tone. The energy continues to be pumped up, delivering a combination of tight synthesizers and a heavy, massive bassline.

The final track on the ‘Dark Energy’ EP is titled, “Centralized”. As a standalone track, it may come off as unfinished to some listeners, yearning to hear more. But “Centralized” was created by Romanello to be used as a set intro for DJs. The minute-and-a-half track has an enchanting, thrusting 303 and gentle vocals that caps off the EP in an exciting way. The EP is the epitome of dance-floor energy.

With a discography that dates back for decades now, Romanello is seen as an icon in his genre. Part of Romanello’s success can be attributed to his melodic techno sound, that is overloaded with his intense emotions. That is why it comes as no shock that his 2016 discovery of his record label, Red Channel Records, is immensely successful.

Tony Romanello’s music is untouchable. His songs have been remixed by several artists, including but not limited to: Shady M, H! Dude, Dani Sbert, Akkon, N.O.B.A, Greg Denbosa, Carl Shorts, Tankhamun, and more. In the past, he has joined MK8 and Martin K4rma on the 2019 Ibiza Wonderland RCR Showdown tour and is rated among the Top 100 for Techno Producers.
