Ghastly Reveals Plans For New Side Project GHENGAR

House DJ Ghastly unveils new music under the name GHENGAR for 2022.

On February 2^nd, House/EDM DJ Ghastly announced via Instagram and Twitter that a new project was underway. That project? The inquisitive GHENGAR.

While information about the new project has been kept under wraps, Ghastly revealed about it has been through various social media posts. On December 17^th, he posted a picture onto Instagram with the caption “Ghastly is evolving…”

Meanwhile on January 8^th Ghastly tweeted, “I’m putting out 3 albums this year. Not all of them will be under the name Ghastly.” Moreover, on February 2^nd he made the “official” announcement about one of these new projects via Instagram and Twitter by saying, “Many are asking about what my GHENGAR project is.. Ghastly = house music/melodic bass. GHENGAR = *evil emoji.*”

The last hint he gave was through a post on February 4^th via Instagram and Twitter that stated, “Working extremely hard on 4 separate projects all coming out this year. Thank you for your patience it will be well worth the investment ily.”

These clues have sent fans into an understandable whirlwind, and their attempts at guessing what this new project is has turned into an amusing game. While one user on Twitter @Frantik_Musik tweeted, “GHENGAR sounds like the troll under the bridge that won’t let you pass until you have answered a series of riddles” others have gotten closer to guessing what the actual project is.

Ghastly favorited a quoted tweet from @tariqabdelphoto on February 2^nd that read, “I’m surprised @Ghastly hasn’t done a side project called haunter or Gengar. Imagine mid set house light go down and he ‘evolves’ and only plays really deep dark experimental music.”

Other than “teaser” tweets and Instagram posts, nothing has been officially said about when fans can expect new music from Ghastly – whether that be through his own name, or one of the other three projects he’s working on. All that can be said at this point is, expect the unexpected.
