Lucii is notorious for speaking out about her own battle with mental health issues such as anxiety and depression. Like many artists, she does so to raise awareness and break the stigma around terms like “mental health,” “depression,” and “anxiety.”

A few days ago, the artist shared a heartfelt video mashup to Tik Tok, shedding light on her own battle with several mental health issues. Her pinned comment reads, “I posted this because I just wanted everybody to know my life isn’t perfect and I struggle with depression and anxiety. Social media usually only shows the perfect sides of life. You’re not alone and I love you please keep fighting, it’ll get better.”

In response to the video, fans shared their appreciation for Lucii’s openness and honesty and, more importantly, expressed their love for her and her music. One comment reads, “I’ve listened to you for so long and many songs have a deep meaning to me. Know that you are loved by many people and you matter.”

During National Suicide Awareness Month, Ookay opened up with his fans about his personal struggles with his mental health. Alison Wonderland often shares details of her own battles and touches on the topic of mental health through her music. Of course, Lucii is another artist who is helping to raise awareness for the cause using her platform.

I've been a part of the dance music scene for nearly a decade and with Exron for more than half of that time. My first event was Diplo's Mad Decent but these days you'll find me at Club Space or the Brooklyn Mirage. Some of my top artists are G Jones, Tipper, Of The Trees, and CharlestheFirst. My favorite genres are techno, experimental bass, and ambient but I'll get down to anything with a beat!
