Deadmau5 ex-wife Kelly Zimmerman Moves to the US after “Year of Transition” – [Read]

Kelly Zimmerman is back and better than ever, after rediscovering herself for the last year.

One of EDM’s OG favorite couples announced an amicable split last year, sparking conversations in the electronic world. Post-divorce, both deadmau5 and Kelly Zimmerman took to social media to document their separate journeys through their freshly divorced world. 

Zimmerman has been posting photos of her freshly single self-love journey, saying that she is alone but not lonely, and that she was okay with that. A few months ago, Zimmerman posted a photo of a text that read ,”The older I get, the more I realize it’s better to be alone than lonely with someone else.” 

Zimmerman was also spotted still wearing her wedding band since the divorce, which caused some murmurs among fans as to why. Regardless of the message behind the social media posts, Kelly Zimmerman has been living her best life, truly embodying the “new year, new me” phrase. 

A Canadian born citizen, Kelly Zimmerman revealed she’s moved to the U.S. full time. She says “I don’t know where I’m going or what I’ll do, but I know I’m happy”. We love to see an independent, thriving queen! 

Kelly Zimmerman has also been bossing up her own streams of income post-split. She’s posted a number of sponsorships, like hair extensions, spa treatments, candles, and more. Zimmerman is also a mental health advocate, posting a video talking on her own depression and anxiety with a doctor in the video as well, discussing treatment options, stigma, and more. 

Kelly Zimmerman is at the beginning of a new era, dipping her toes into new business ventures, moving to a new country, and looking like a baddie as always. We wish her the best!
