Who is Rika Mikuriya? – [Read]

Meet Rika Mikuriya the woman who is Porter Robinson’s other half and now fiancée.

Of all of Porter Robinson’s accomplishments, 2021 was arguably his best year yet. His seven year in the making album Nurture finally came to fruition that launched a massive North American tour.

Alongside him every step of the way was girlfriend, now fiancée, Rika Mikuriya whom he proposed to on New Year’s Eve. The two have been together since 2017, but who is Rika Mikuriya?

Well, she has street credit and popularity of her own. Often on tour, fans would be just as excited to meet her as they would to meet Robinson and during Philadelphia’s Nurture Live show fans were even chanting her name.

On her public Instagram account (@rikaberri), Rika has over 21.6k followers. She shares her talent for making crafts creating a variety of dainty accessories for her five-star Etsy shop with over 600 completed sales. For Christmas, she sold mystery boxes filled with handmade jewelry and other goodies including polaroids of her two cats Mema and Koneko.

When she’s not being a small business owner one can find Rika online gaming. She even has her own Twitch channel where she occasionally streams. Her favorite game is League of Legends which inspired this commissioned digital art as a gift from Porter back in 2020.

Mikuriya is half-Japanese, and it seems that everything about her can only be described as adorable. Though don’t let that fool you, because it takes a fearless woman to be able to switch up her hair color as often as she does.

There’s a saying that goes, “Behind every great man is a greater woman,” and we think Porter would agree. In previous interviews about his Nurture album, he thanks Rika for being his rock and constant support through it all.

We hope to see more content from Rika in the future and are waiting patiently for more wedding news to come.

I’ve been with Exron since 2018 and have the privilege of contributing to the culture alongside other badass women whom I now call my friends. My introduction to the scene was first influenced by trap music, but my discography has since expanded to touch a bit of everything. Some of my favorite artists are Zeds Dead, Cloonee, Nghtmre, Flume, Infekt, Sosa, Bleu Clair, Subtronics, but the list goes on forever.
