ZHU Delights With DREAMLAND DELUXE After Album Release – [Listen]

It’s Zhu’s Dreamland – we’re all just living in it.

ZHU had quite the year post Covid’s hiatus in 2020, a sabbatical he spent trekking through the desert with his buddy, creating music and embarking on entropic adventures. In 2021, ZHU got back to basics and effected an intense live show regiment, performing at a multitude of diverse venues – anything from intimate grime raves to slammed arenas like EDC and more.

To close out the year, ZHU gifted fans with the Deluxe version of DREAMLAND, an album released earlier in 2021, which was nothing short of filthy. ZHU’s signature sound exudes from every track. His high falsetto creates an oddly feminine tonality, yet the dark energy of the compilation espouses a tacit masculinity. ZHU’s individualism is powerful and captivating, and DREAMLAND (DELUXE) is an intense emersion in that world of ZHU.

And as the cherry atop this ice cream Sunday, ZHU also included two previously unreleased tracks, titled “Mannequins & Egos” and “Coral Pink,” in addition to throwing in some classics from other albums to create the perfect blend of classic and novel. For the full album track list, see below.
