The beloved electronic music producer, Porter Robinson, shares a touching post for his proposal

Over the course of their relationship, Porter Robinson hasn’t been shy about expressing his feelings for his longtime partner, Rika. In fact, earlier this year Robinson shared details about their four relationship when describing the song “Sweet Time” from his latest album ‘Nurture‘.

Porter commented to Billboard, ““One of the themes on this album is meeting someone you love so deeply that you become afraid to die for the first time in your life,” he says. “It’s so clear to me that I can’t die at the altar of art here. I don’t find burning out extravagantly and dying in my 30s to be a romantic idea anymore.”

Since their relationship became public knowledge fans have been rooting for Rika and Porter to go all the way. Everything he shares about their relationship has been sincere and from the heart. His fans have even come to love Rika, chanting her name at one of his shows on the Nurture tour this past year.

Robinson has been at the forefront of electronic music for the past decade and especially after his debut album ‘Worlds’. It has been no secret that Porter struggled creatively after ‘Worlds’, feeling as though he couldn’t create something as special and meaningful. Fans were not disappointed when he finally unveiled his sophomore album ‘Nurture‘ earlier this year.
