Flyght Club Mesmerizes With Sensual New Single and Music Video – [Watch]
Rising talent Shauvik Sharan, professionally known as Flyght Club, closes the year out on a high note with hypnotizing new single and music video for “Quaalude” feat. Brandt
Flyght Club continues to build his intriguing discography with the latest addition of sultry single “Quaalude” feat. Brandt. The Los Angeles-based artist strives to explore a multitude of life parallels in his music with each song evoking different emotions from the listener.
Since moving to LA, Flyght Club has significantly grown as an artist exploring producing, singing, songwriting, and engineering. As he builds his burgeoning fanbase, Flyght Club’s versatile musical skillset becomes stronger with each release.
Much like the single itself, “Quaalude” accentuates a slow and sensual vibe from start to finish. For fans of The Weeknd, “Quaalude” is the perfect addition to any slow-burning playlist. Flyght Club and Brandt’s vocals effortlessly intertwine with the enthralling instrumentation, leaving a lasting impression on the audience.
Diving deeper, the lyrics illustrate the age-old story of succumbing to a moment of weakness and the repercussions of that decision. Sharan comments on the storyline, “I came up with a story where a guy is left to himself as his girlfriend goes on a work trip. Seeing this as an off day, he agrees to meet up with his college buddy and go partying. Before hitting the club, they decide to take quaaludes. The guy ends up meeting a girl and going over to her place before blacking out. The guy wakes up the next day with no memory of the previous night and feeling guilty about having cheated on his girlfriend. He finds himself tied to a bed. The girl from the night before turns out to be a satanist and plans to sacrifice the guy for a ritual. I found this situation so interesting to write about as it also brought in instant karma and crazy repercussions to cheating.”
2021 proved to be Flyght Club’s biggest year yet, with 8 original releases including “Drugs On My Mind” with D Prime, “Take It Back”, and “All For You”. Marking his final release of the year with “Quaalude”, Flyght Club positions himself as an artist to watch in 2021 and beyond.
