Tisoki, G Jones, Bawldy and more artists on Twitter discuss the importance of Narcan at shows.

A key factor to the success of the electronic music community is when we show human decency for one another. When we look out for each other at music venues and festivals, we are making the community respectable, stronger, and safer.

It is not only the responsibility of the attendees, but also the music artists, managers, and venue staff to keep a safe environment. With fentanyl cases and overdoses at an all-time high it more important than ever for people and venues to be equipped with Narcan.

Tisoki tweeted asking how we get venues to start carrying Narcan to which sparked an informative conversation on steps we can all takes as individuals.

In agreement with Tisoki, G Jones went even further encouraging other artists to request a certified Narcan dispenser at any future show and by carrying Narcan himself. Bawldy joins in on the conversation by adding no matter what someone’s decisions are, it shouldn’t have to cost them their life.

Anyone can learn how to dispense Narcan and if you’re willing to trade 10 minutes to learn, it could give someone the second chance they deserve. This type of proactive thinking and push for a new standard is what will save countless lives in the future.

My introduction to the scene was first influenced by trap music, but my discography has since expanded to touch a bit of everything. Some of my favorite artists are Zeds Dead, Cloonee, Nghtmre, Flume, Infekt, Sosa, Bleu Clair, Subtronics, but the list goes on forever.
