Mija and GG Magree Launch DJ Duo ‘So Tuff So Cute’ and Announce Debut Performance – [Read]

Punk has a pulse, all thanks to Mija and GG.

Our favorite bestie duo is back at it again, delivering the content we all want, need, and deserve. Mija and GG Magree recently announced the formation of their duo-DJ group “so tuff so cute,” along with the news that their debut performance will be celebrated at Insomniac’s Countdown on New Year’s Eve in San Bernardino, California. Shortly following this performance that will usher in the new year, so tuff so cute also announced that they will be playing in the summer of 2022 for Electric Forest.

Not only is this the first Countdown in over a year, but it’s also the first Electric Forest since the waning of corona. To be included in the post-pandemic reprisals of such paramount festivals shortly after debuting your DJ group is merely a testament to the strong fan following that both Mija and GG have amassed.

Mija and GG are known for playfully biting one another’s ankles while on stage, spitting in each other’s mouths during sets (because who needs red solo cups these days when you have your mama bird bestie boo), and flexing all over social media like the punk, edgy baddies they undeniably are. Mija and GG are also known for their widely publicized friendship with Vanessa Hudgens, the High School Musical Spring Breakers superstar herself. In a nutshell, everything about these girls, their friend circles, and their aesthetics is too lit to quit. And although this is the very beginning for so tuff so cute, fans are extremely excited at thought of all the music and content to come, taking to Twitter to express adoration and respect.

In this social media day and age, it’s simply not enough to be an incredible DJ and producer. Fans want personality, flavor, style, entertainment, and engagement. They want to consume all different mediums of content, from TikTok to music to fashion to soft vlogging and more. What makes these two girlie pops special is that they not only know how to drop a fuego mix, but they also can entertain, amuse, and take on the role of provocateurs, catching the interest of the buzzing EDM community and beyond.
