Grim is a professional photographer and videographer based in Shanghai, China who has worked alongside dozens of EDM artists throughout her career. She’s worked with industry leaders such as Rezz, Subtronics, Ghastly, and San Holo, although her work is predominantly done in the dubstep scene.

She begins the post, “With this year coming to a close, I want to finally let these secrets out that have been harboring and festering anxiety in me.” According to the rest of her account, Trampa is the alleged perpetrator of rape and 12th Planet and Gammer of sexual assault. She goes on to request that readers please not ask for more details, as she’s currently in the process of seeking a trauma therapist.

Neither Gammer, Trampa, or 12th Planet have released statements regarding the allegations. In fact, neither artist has posted anything to their respective social media accounts since grim shared her allegations. However, fans have taken it to Twitter and Reddit to sympathize with these artists, both defending their characters and attempting to discredit grim’s story.

Grim notes in her account that her intentions are not to “cancel” the accused; however, we all know that it’s not left up to the accuser or the artist(s) to decide, but rather, the community. So far, we have seen outrage from both sides. Many fans and even artists have expressed their sympathy toward grim and expressed solidarity with her and her story.

I've been a part of the dance music scene for nearly a decade and with Exron for more than half of that time. My first event was Diplo's Mad Decent but these days you'll find me at Club Space or the Brooklyn Mirage. Some of my top artists are G Jones, Tipper, Of The Trees, and CharlestheFirst. My favorite genres are techno, experimental bass, and ambient but I'll get down to anything with a beat!
