It’s that time of year again: the tree leaves fall, the days get shorter, and your Spotify-subscribing friends flaunt their eccentric tastes via their Stories. 

Apple Music features some of the greatest exclusive content, SoundCloud boasts the greatest variety and unofficial mixes, and Tidal supports high-fidelity streaming…Step aside Apple Music, SoundCloud and Tidal fans.

All of these add-ons pale in comparison to the annual ego boost one receives from Spotify’s “Wrapped” round-up. You’re telling me I’m in the top .05% of listeners of an artist with 127 total followers? This is the real reason we shell out $10 a month.

As with most yearly recaps, there are categories that many artists excelled in. It’s no surprise that Lil Nas X and Dua Lipa dominated streaming in both the top tracks and artists categories.
