Prolific Talent John Summit Releases “Human” – [Listen]

The hot ID that John Summit has been using as a secret weapon in his sought after sets is finally here.

Hailing from the house music hub of Chicago, John Summit has made immense waves in the industry as of late. Beatport’s highest selling artist for the last 12 months straight, John Summit has at last materialized his biggest track of 2021 and an instant fan favorite.

Making his debut on Pete Tong‘s esteemed FFRR label, “Human” has been a crowd favorite since debuting as an unreleased tune in his masterclass sets this year. Summit was quoted saying, “Human is easily my most anticipated single to date. This record has taken months to perfect, and with it having over 100 different elements, my laptop has crashed many times during the process haha.” Summit was also quoted saying this is his “most unique record to date”, to which fans were going crazy.

“Human” sees John Summit really look and step into himself and his nuanced skillset. Summit executes with his renowned production skills, working in lots of groove and percussion heavy styles. Summit is widely recognized for his memorable vocals, which are on full display in the emotional track, “Human”.

“I’ve been getting really into songwriting lately, rather than making just club tracks, and I feel like this track really displays both of those strengths for me which is why I’m so proud of it. When I first played this track at Club Space in Miami (even when it was just an early version) the reaction was insane, and I couldn’t believe it”, John Summit said.

Summit took the world by storm with his 2020 release, “Deep End”. The breakout record was Beatport’s longest running #1 of the year, Pete Tong’s Essential New Tune, and hit Radio 1’s main playlist. John Summit has also gone on to release #1 singles on both the D4 Dance label, and the Insomniac label. This deservedly quick rise to fame has earned him over 3 million monthly Spotify listeners, as well as the prestigious title of Beatport’s highest selling artist across all genres for the last 12 months.
