Dubstep Legend FuntCase Releases Explosive 4th DPMO Compilation – [Listen]

UK based Dubstep and DNB god FuntCase has unleashed the anticipated 4th installment of his label’s compilation series.

If you call yourself a dubstep or dnb fan, and you haven’t heard of FuntCase, you’re doing something wrong. An English producer, DJ, gamer, global performer, and sound pioneer, FuntCase is a true tastemaker, successfully reconciling many areas of electronic music over the years. FuntCase was became active in 2007 under his initial alias, DJ Dose, releasing mostly drum and bass, until 2009 when he first started releasing under the name FuntCase

FuntCase was signed to Flux Pavillion and Doctor P‘s label, Circus Records, back in 2010, which paved the way for him to build his own brand and eventually label, DPMO. FuntCase‘s drum and bass roots, paired with his signature filthy, wompy sound, have curated a uniquely powerful soundscape over the years that lends himself to be one of the more legendary names in dubstep and drum and bass.

FuntCase has been quietly building his tastemaker hub of the hottest new acts in dubstep, riddim, and drum and bass over the years. DPMO started as just a brand, releasing namesake compilations, but became a full on label last year with the release of FuntCase’s ‘Corruption’ EP. The label prides itself on showcasing the best of the best up and coming artists in bass music, and has done so successfully year after year.

This year’s release, DPMO Volume 4, is packed tight with heavy hitters, as usual. DPMO regulars WELON, Vers, Dr. Lobster showcase their talents and valor as label titans. Nosphere, Chassi, PROTOS, Bloodthinnerz, and MASSPANIC all return for their second releases or more on the DPMO compilation, and solidify just why they were asked to return. To round off the monstrous compilation, FuntCase himself has riotous collabs with both Doctor P, and Badklaat that’ll get your head knockin’.

In addition to elite heavy hitters returning to DPMO, the 4th instillation of the esteemed compilation saw quite a few new faces. Hamro, AKVMA, DVEIGHT, BrunchBeatz, STEEZ, and many more forces to be reckoned with are showcased. DPMO Vol. 4 comes just in time to unleash absolute chaos on your unsuspecting family and friends for the holiday season.
