Nicole Moudaber Gets Avant Gardner ‘In The Mood’ – [Review]

The highly-anticipated audiovisual experience ‘In The Mood’, curated by the techno queen Nicole Moudaber, surpassed expectations

Bringing her coveted ‘In The Mood’ event brand to NYC’s elite dance music venue, Avant Gardner, Moudaber‘s recent show was a smash success. Partnering with Gelareh Designs and Volvox Labs NYC, the artistic visionary curated a mesmerizing audiovisual experience for attendees. The glowing abstract visuals and eclectic dancers were the perfect complements to the techno sonic landscape.

Recruiting the likes of Chris Liebing, Luigi Madonna, and Skin, each of the artists’ sets offered an intriguing addition to the evening. After Nicole Moudaber‘s opening set, her friend and frequent collaborator Skin took the stage for an intoxicating demonstration of music mastery. Drumcode favorite Luigi Madonna’s hypnotic set prepared fans for the tone for the remainder of the night. As expected, Nicole Moudaber‘s second solo set of the night had the entire room electrified as she flawlessly mixed some of her classics. To close out the evening, Moudaber and Liebing delivered a rare b2b set, and their on-stage chemistry was palpable.
