Shadient is inspired by Gesaffelstein, Boys Noize, and Aphex Twin. On his unique name he states:

“It was a name I made in 2015 at college, from the get-go it was this world of ideas I had rushing into my head of metallic and industrial imagery, dark visual aspects, noise and bass leaning music.”

His newest LP, comes out on SLANDER and NGHTMRE’s GUD VIBRATIONS label. This is his second release on the label, the first being his most recent EP, ‘Divide’ released in 2019. The album takes the listener on a musical journey, with tracks ranging from hyperpop to bass music. “Sympathy Coil” is the standout of the album, combining both pop elements with EDM to create an emotive track.

The music on ‘Have You No Burden’ is inspired by the universal feeling of stagnancy and the strange sense of unity that the world experienced during lockdown. The album is for anyone who has ever felt like an outsider or misfit, and hopes to bring them solace.
