Lil Texas Bares All on Stage at EDC Las Vegas – [Read]

The “Hardcore Texcore” leader bares all to make EDC 2021 a weekend to remember. 

Lil Texas, one of the most provocative DJs in music, took his EDC set to another level when he decided to strip down to just two cowboy hats, one on his head and the other on his nether regions. His decision to do so came from a promise he made in a tweet stating that he would go nude on stage if EDC happened in 2021. 

Known for his raw, no holds barred approach to live performances, it’s not unusual to see Lil Texas begin to take off layers as his  performances progress. However, stripping down to his birthday suit was something that he hadn’t taken on before.

Stepping things up another level, Lil Texas posted the promiscuous photos from his undressed performance on Instagram, where he received shocked reactions on the stunt. Big names in the industry decided to commend the brazen cowboy for his wild act, with recent collaborator, Kayzo, and bass producer, SNAILS, both cheering him on. 

Lil Texas’s live antics may seem grotesque to some, but it’s these ludacris performances that make his persona come full circle. His music is unconventional to say the least, with mashups of hardstyle and country that leave a crowd both confused and amazed. The tattoo-covered, bass music savant has such a unique approach to intersecting different sounds, his remix of Lady Gaga and Elton John’s “Sine from Above” is a stand out amongst others.
