Porter Robinson Fans Chant Girlfriend Rika’s Name During Nurture Tour After Proposal Rumors – [Read]

Fans show love to Porter Robinson’s girlfriend while she joins him on the Nurture Live Tour.

The beloved Porter Robinson is currently on tour for his second album release titled Nurture. This album released after seven years in the making and is finally coming to life in venues across the North America.

A very special guest touring with Porter is none other than his most adorable girlfriend Rika Mikuriya. The two have been going on strong for over four years and rumors of a soon to be proposal is in the air.

Amongst the beautiful tracks in Nurture, the song “Sweet Time” was inspired by his relationship with Rika. In a behind-the-scenes look into the album, he discusses how his love for her shifted his outlook on life. “This song is about being so in love with someone that, for the first time in your life, you’re scared of dying. You realize you aren’t guaranteed an eternity together.”

This common theme of overwhelming love partly inspired by Rika is carried throughout the album and true Porter Robinson fans know it. In a recent show played in Philadelphia, the crowd started chanting “RIKA RIKA RIKA” for her to hear.
