Lane 8 Announces Fourth Studio Album ‘Reviver’ And Releases Title Track – [Listen]

The melodic house extraordinaire said this will be “his most dancefloor focused album yet”.

Lane 8 took to Instagram to announce that his forthcoming album, ‘Reviver’, will be releasing January 21st, 2022. After receiving critical praise for his 2020 release, ‘Brightest Lights’, it’s no surprise that fans are already ecstatic to hear the new records in store.

With the announcement of the album also came a release for the title track, “Reviver”. The track features Lane 8’s signature melodic house sound that encapsulates a charged feeling of freedom. This song doesn’t feature any vocalists, which allows the beat to breathe on its own, forcing the listener to get lost in the hypnotic synth pattern.

“While making Reviver, one of my primary goals was to reinvent myself as a producer.”

In the Instagram post above, Lane 8 (formally known as Daniel Goldstein) expressed how he has struggled to keep up with the need to constantly push the boundary of what he can produce. It seems during the development of the forthcoming album, he realized that his own personal growth was enough to help change his perspective on his work, and that he no longer had to force himself to change, because he was already evolving as an artist.

After road-testing a few of the tracks from the upcoming project, Goldstein is confident that the energy he was trying to develop with the project is thriving in practice. Lane 8 will be taking the stage at Electric Daisy Carnival at the CircuitGrounds from 10:45 PM – 12:00 AM on Sunday. For those attending or watching the live stream, be sure to keep your ears ready for unreleased tracks from the upcoming album, ‘Reviver’.
