Armin van Buuren Claims DJ Mag Top 5 For 20th Consecutive Time -[Read]
The Dutch phenom has done it again, for the 20th time in a row.
Armin van Buuren, the 44 year old DJ hailing from the Netherlands, has once again claimed his spot in the top 5 of DJ Mag’s prestigious rankings. His award of #3 in the Top 100 DJ’s comes as his 20th consecutive placement in the top 5. Out of the 20th consecutive top five placements, 5 of those have been a #1 ranking. Armin van Buuren‘s trademark progressive house, big room, and trance styles have remained at the forefront of the industry, setting an example for DJ’s worldwide.
Armin van Buuren, since becoming active in 1996, has also won an extensive myriad of other awards, for his albums, his Youtube channel, his label Armada Music, and much more. Armin has won Best Trance DJ at the DJ Awards ten times since 2009, and won Best International DJ 4 times as well. His weekly radio show, A State of Trance, has been on the air since 2001, and garners nearly 40 million listeners worldwide, in 84 different countries. The radio show has seen collaborations with stars such as Alesso, Timmy Trumpet, Steve Aoki, and more. Van Buuren has been a pioneer of globalizing trance music, and his weekly radio show has played a big part in that.
