Lane 8 Shares Experience with Quarantine Anxiety – [Read]

Lane 8 opens up to fans describing his anxiety as a touring artist during quarantine.

When you give so much time to something you love it becomes a part of you. Our passions can somewhat define us as a part of our purpose and without it we can feel lost.

When the pandemic hit, COVID-19 put a huge obstacle between us and our passions. For musicians it meant 1.5+ years of no live shows or festivals. DJs who spend a better part of the year touring and playing shows for a living suddenly found themselves at home wondering if life would ever get back to normal.

Lane 8 shared a transparent post to Instagram admitting he has downplayed how much the pandemic truly affected him. Being a touring musician is a huge part of his identity and having that essentially ripped away from him was scary.

Though Lane 8 was able to focus his energy into positive things like making music, his family and training for the Tour de France. Now with gatherings slowly opening back up to the public, Lane 8 returns with more appreciation than ever to play shows for the fans. Read the full post below.
